Ocean City is a resort town in the U.S. state of Maryland between the Atlantic Ocean and Isle of Wight Bay. It features miles of beach and a wooden boardwalk lined with restaurants, shops and hotels. At the boardwalk's southern end, Trimper’s Rides has hosted theme-park attractions for decades. The surrounding waters are active with kayaks and tour boats, some of which journey to popular Assateague Island nearby.

| Ocean City Fire Department - Stations & Apparatus
|
The Ocean City Fire Department - is a combination department comprised of dedicated volunteer and career personnel, working together to protect their residents and visitors. They proudly include over 200 members in the Volunteer Division and more than 100 in the Career Division, including the Office of the Fire Marshal and our vital support staff.
Annually, the department responds to nearly 7,000 emergency calls—many of which occur during our busy summer season. They operate in five response “box areas” that correlate with the five fire stations, covering the full 10.5-mile stretch of Ocean City, West Ocean City, and areas extending to Holly Grove Road. They also provide mutual aid to neighboring jurisdictions in Worcester County, Maryland, and Sussex County, Delaware.
Their capabilities are strengthened by several specialized response teams, including the Dive Team, Water Rescue Team, Confined Space Rescue Team, Bomb Squad, and Marine Unit, which operates two fully equipped fire boats.
