Salisbury Fire Department - Stations & Apparatus
|
The Salisbury Fire Department - provides fire suppression, technical rescue, special operations, and advanced life support (ALS-EMS) emergency medical treatment and transport services to residents of the Salisbury Fire District (48 square miles) on a 24/7 basis.
The department is staffed by 64 career and 120 volunteer highly trained professional Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians and Firefighter/Paramedics.
Special services include hazardous materials response and mitigation, confined space entry and rescue, and surface/subsurface marine operations. The Salisbury Fire Department also provides assistance to, and receives assistance from, surrounding community fire departments.
